Cavity Wall Insulation
Homes built from the 1920s onwards were likely to be built with two layers of wall. The two layers were designed to prevent rainwater from penetrating the external wall reaching the inside of the property. The space between the two layers is known as the ‘cavity.’
It has been found that unfilled cavities could be the reason for up to 35% of heat escaping the property, which means not only is the property losing heat, you’re likely to be spending excessively on central heating.
Many cavity walls can be insulated by injecting insulation material into the cavity from the outside. To insulate your cavity walls, we will drill small holes around 22mm in size at intervals of around 1m in the outside wall of your home.
We then blow insulation into the cavity using special equipment. Once all the insulation is in we will fill the holes in the brickwork so you barely notice them.

Party Wall Insulation
The ‘party wall’ of a property is the wall which separates you and your neighbour's home in semi-detached and terraced properties.
Filling the cavity in the party wall will reduce the circulation of cold air between the properties, regulating the heat of your property better. Party Wall Insulation will also help reduce noise between the homes, giving you more privacy.
Thanks to advanced techniques insulating the party wall is as straightforward as filling the other cavities in your property.
However if you’ve had Cavity Wall Insulation in the past and the work was not carried out to your party wall, we can insulate the party wall on its own, further reducing heat loss from your property.
